Founder
I am a hand surgeon. Like every surgeon who fixes bone, I have measured thousands of drill holes with a depth gauge: push it in, hook the far cortex, read the sleeve, and hope the number is right.
BeeBlip started from that frustration. The idea is simple: the drill already goes through both cortices, so the measurement should come from the drilling itself, with no second instrument and no second step.
With DragonflyLabs we took it from a sensor taped to a drill in 2024 to a finished instrument, tested on the bench and in the cadaver laboratory.
